All components of the AgriCool shed ventilation system, including tunnel fans and de-stratification fans, undergo testing in accordance with the standards set by the International Organisation for Standardisation (ISO).
It is with this process that we at ebm-papst can give you the confidence each AgriCool product is designed for reduced noise levels and energy consumption, while providing the poultry farmer with assurance of complete speed control of the poultry ventilation fans installed.

Precision measurement
To ensure consistently precise, reproducible measurements, the test facilities and test equipment are subjected to regular checking with a measurement instrument accuracy of ± 0.5% of the measured value.
Measurements are taken on third-party certified precision chamber test rigs. Constant internal monitoring of the test facilities used and the values obtained guarantees consistently high levels of product quality and fan dependability.

Measurement over calculation
Rather than give our customers high expectations based on theoretical calculations, ebm-papst constructs each fan arrangement and then tests the whole module. This allows for accuracy of energy consumption results and realistic expected airflow outputs.
Consequently every fan supplied for use as a AgriCool system component can always be trusted to deliver the performance required. Every fan supplied by ebm-papst is 100% end-of-line tested before leaving our factory.

Testing standards
All fan data presented by ebm-papst has been attained at state-of-the-art facilities which are calibrated and installed to international standards (ISO 5801, installation category A and ISO 13347). Aeroacoustic fan testing is used to gain a simultaneous recording of air performance data and noise values. For detailed information on the measurement set-up, please contact ebm-papst A&NZ.
